Week at a glance

Week of June 21 - 25

It's hard to believe this is our last week of school! This week will be filled with activities and fun to commemorate a wonderful grade 1 year.

Daily

  • Please return all home reading duotangs and any classroom or school books that you have at home.
  • Molly is our amie vedette this week! - Our ami vedette will lead us in calendar each morning as well as have the opportunity to bring 2 show and tells (1 - anything they want; 2 - a favourite book that I will read to the class). We will be going through the class list in alphabetical order by last name so you have an idea when your child's week will be coming up.
  • Please send your child to school each day with a full water bottle, several clean masks, and their agenda

Monday

  • Coulee walk - We will be going for a walk in the coulees so wear good outdoor footwear and bring hats and sunscreen.

Tuesday

  • Water fight - We will be enjoying the sunshine with a water fight this afternoon. Please send kids to school with swim suits and towels as well as any water toys or water squirters (no water guns) they might want to play with during our time outside. If you would be willing to send an extra bathing suit with your child just incase we have anyone forget one, that would also be awesome!

Wednesday

  • Movie day - We will be watching Muana as a class. Popcorn will be provided. Students are also welcome to bring festive snacks to enjoy during the movie.

Thursday

  • Sugar Bowl - We will be going on a walk to the Sugar Bowl to enjoy the playground.
  • School supplies - I will be sending home school supplies with students at the end of the day. Please ensure there is space in their back packs and clean out all of the supplies for the following day.

Friday

  • Last day of school!
  • Class party - this will just be a party day with a short award ceremony in which each student will be given a certificate. I'm going to miss them all so much!!!
